One of the oldest inns in the world. The Old Exeter Inn has been trading on West Street, Ashburton, Dartmoor since 1130AD. On July 19th 1603, Sir Walter Raleigh was arrested at the inn for Treason against the King and was taken to the Tower of London. We are open everyday for good food and we have a remarkable drinks selection of craft beers, real ales, scrumpy cider, perry, wines and spirits.
