Stone Lane Gardens

An RHS Partner Garden, Stone Lane Gardens is open every day of the year from 10am till 6pm. Perched on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park, the Gardens hold a National Collection of Birch and Alder, some of which are very rare, and, can be ordered as saplings from our specialist nursery via the website. In the summer months, the arboretum and water garden become and outdoor gallery exhibiting sculptures by local artists. Adjoining the Gardens are large wildflower meadows with spectacular views across Dartmoor to the west, where a new arboretum is being established. A Tea Room with a tea garden provides refreshments for Gardens visitors during the summer, please check opening times on the website. In every season the Gardens welcome families and dogs on leads.
